Want to learn on real vintage analog synths? This course is a must for any aspiring electronic musician. Learn the history of the synthesizer and its path in both experimental and popular music. We will discuss how sounds and features developed, and how they shaped the music they appeared in.
Investigate the basic building blocks of synthesis and how you can create and control your own unique sounds, while you gain a better understanding of sound in general. In addition to software synths from Logic, Max/MSP and d16 you will gain some hands on experience with classic vintage analog synths, such as the Korg MS-20 and the Sequential Circuits Prophet 5.
All students enrolled in this course will receive special discount coupons for purchasing d16 products.
