Brian Jackson, M.A. is Devotion’s Director of Education and one of its co-founders. He is an internationally released electronic musician, professional audio engineer, and highly experienced teacher. Brian has been professionally recognized as a Pro Tools expert for more than a decade. Having started with Pro Tools version 3.4 in 1996, he was hired by Rocket Network in 2000 to QA what eventually became DigiDelivery. There he worked closely with Digidesign developers, and even spec’d out a few features that exist in the software to this day. With more than 8 years experience teaching Pro Tools, he also tech edited the Pro Tools 8 Power! book and the Pro Tools 8 Starter DVD for Cengage Learning. His expertise also encompasses Ableton Live (Certified Trainer), Logic, synthesis, mixing, and mastering. Brian received his MA in East-West Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in 1999.
